Best hotdogs in america if the young people working will just stop smashing then. Im not sure of his name but a blonde boy who drives a black dodge pickup smashes peoples dogs and then hides when confronted about it. He allows his co workers to take the hit whikst he hides away in his oick up. Other than him, this is one of the best places youll ever visit in the entire world. It's a blast from the past with a bit of modernism added. Jerry the owner is a great guy as well. Cheap movies, great atmosphere, solid snack menu and the softdrink machine.... the best mix of syrup to water ratio i believe ive ever tasted. seriously! I can't say much about carnegie being such a small town. There's really nothing there but this Gem of a Moving Picture house. Oldest active movie theater in America if i have my facts straight. The showdogs are with the trip from chickasha to carnegie.

They changed something about the showdogs. They're still the most delicious show dogs of any movie theater but not quiet the same. It's been awhile since I've had them bit I look forward to them every trip!

Rediscovering Cinematic Grandeur at The Liberty Theatre, Carnegie, Oklahoma In my global odyssey through the hallowed halls of iconic movie theaters, none have encapsulated the spirit of vintage cinema quite like The Liberty Theatre in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Tucked away in this quaint town, The Liberty is not merely a cinema; it is a time capsule of cinematic grandeur, where the echoes of classic films still resonate. From the moment I set foot into The Liberty, the ambiance embraced me like an old friend. The façade, adorned with a marquee that seemed to tell tales of decades past, signaled that I was about to embark on a journey through cinematic history. The warm glow of its neon lights hinted at the magic that awaited within. The interior, with its opulent detailing and classic design, transported me to an era when attending a movie was an event to be dressed up for. The velvet curtains gracefully parted, unveiling a screen that seemed to hold the secrets of countless stories. It was a visual symphony, where the craftsmanship of a bygone era met the precision of modern technology. What sets The Liberty apart is its impeccable maintenance and commitment to cleanliness. Despite its age, the theater gleams with a timeless charm, a testament to the dedication of those who understand the significance of preserving such cultural treasures. The staff, clad in uniforms that pay homage to a more elegant time, adds to the overall experience of stepping into a cinematic sanctuary. Having explored theaters worldwide, from the historic to the avant-garde, I can confidently say that The Liberty Theatre in Carnegie, Oklahoma, stands among the best. The seating, a perfect blend of comfort and vintage allure, ensures that every moviegoer is not just a spectator but a participant in a cinematic ritual. As streaming services dominate the entertainment landscape, The Liberty remains a beacon for those who yearn for the communal magic of the silver screen. It is more than a theater; it is a living museum of cinematic art, a place where the magic of storytelling is celebrated in its purest form. In conclusion, The Liberty Theatre in Carnegie, Oklahoma, is a true cinematic gem. It preserves the allure of vintage cinema while seamlessly embracing the comforts of the modern age. If you are a seeker of authentic cinematic experiences, a pilgrimage to The Liberty is not just recommended—it's essential. Here, the magic of the movies transcends time, and every visit is a step into the heart of a golden era.

Love this theater. So very clean. I love the show dogs. No matter how full I am I still eat them! My grandson can eat 5! Prices most reasonable in all of Western Oklahoma. Well worth the drive.

Fantastic time as always! Saw Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore and I was not disappointed in the presentation of the movie, not to mention the showdogs were as good as I remember! This was my fiancé's first experience and he is now a fan as well!

We live two states away, but regularly come to Oklahoma to see family. We skip movies back home and wait to see them at the Liberty because it's such a great experience. The little things like classic movie scores playing before your movie, art deco ambiance, and an old school environment come together to remind you of a time when seeing a movie at the theater was a special experience. Hot and fresh popcorn, friendly service, incredible prices and the unique show dogs are just the icing on the cake.

If we go to the theater this is the one we go to! I love the old timey atmosphere with the ceiling tiles and the grand state of it with the plants in the lobby and seating is pretty nice too. You don't feel squashed in and usually can have some space between you and random people. The owner keeps an eye on the kids that run up and down isles and for people on their phones so they shut that don't quickly so you can immerse yourself in the movie. The sound isn't over the top like some theaters too.
